CYFD's Protective Services Division strives to enhance the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families in New Mexico. We believe that a concern for children extends to all children in New Mexico, not just our own.

As a mandatory reporter under New Mexico law (NMSA 1978, § 32A-4-3), you are legally obligated to report any suspected instances of child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities. This portal is designed to facilitate the submission of such reports to the Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD). All reports submitted through this portal will be confidential, and the identity of the reporter is protected in accordance with New Mexico law (NMSA 1978, § 32A-4-4(A)).
